Laboratory Technician for PVT analyses.

properties of Reservoir Fluids)

description:
¨
Compositional
analyses of hydrocarbons, using Gas Chromatography.
¨
Routine and special
PVT analyses.
¨
Reporting and QC of
PVT analyses.
¨
Development of new
test methods.
¨
Cooperation with
Supervisor oil and gas sample storage.
Occupational skills and
qualifications.
Laboratory Engineer:
BSc or Master Degree in Chemistry or Petroleum Technology.
Experience in Gas Chromatographic techniques and analyses preferred.
Laboratory Technician:
No formal education required but good hands-on and
organisational skills important. One of the main tasks for this position is
control and
registration of the client samples and test materials.
Both jobs involve a healthy mix of laboratory and clerical work. Experience with
Excel and Word on PC is an advantage. Laboratory work requires a person that can
work independent and perform the laboratory tests with good accuracy. Necessary
training will be given.
