On 19th August 2005, ResLab acquired a 51% controlling interest in the Mexican laboratory service company Geos (Compañía Constructora, Perforadora y de Estudios Geos, S.A. de C.V.). The company is now called “ResLab Geos México” and it will continue to operate from its well established laboratory base at Villahermosa.
ResLab Geos - Mexico
Geos was founded in 1980 and
has become a significant Core Analysis and Geo-Science force in Mexico. It
currently has long term ongoing contracts with PEMEX, the
state oil
company.
ResLab Geos México has excellent prospects for the future, with its well balanced team of local expertise and
broad international experience, which will be available locally to
PEMEX and the other client companies based
in México.
ResLab Geos México is focussing on the expansion of its Core Analysis services, along with the provision of a
Reservoir Fluids analytical capability. In continuity with the
other ResLab laboratories around the world,
emphasis is placed upon QA and HSE, with the delivery of the highest quality reservoir data to the Mexican oil
industry.
