New Spectral Core Gamma Logger (SCGL) for analysis
IFE (Institute for Energy Technology) has developed a new Spectral Core
Gamma Logger for analysis of geological cores. ResLab in Norway is the
world-wide distributor of this instrument.

The SCGL is an instrument designed for improved core gamma measurements.
All sedimentary rocks contains natural radioactivity. The SCGL measures the
natural radioactivity present in well cores. The instrument detects total gross
gamma (API units) and elemental contribution of Potassium (%), Uranium (ppm)
and Thorium (ppm). The conveyor belt with electronics and mechanical
components is assembled into a compact and robust system. The system is
delivered ready for use and is equipped with ISAC data acquisition and control
software.

    correlations

    measured depth
