A background of operational efficiency, high volumes of sample materials and significant cost savings for our clients
Storage Services
ResLab has pioneered the commercial development of
high capacity storage services for the E & P companies
from its facilities in Norway. Within the ResLab storage
facility in Stavanger, alone, we handle and store more than
250,000 meters of core for our clients on a day-to-day
basis. We have already exported these storage services to
the Middle East and Latin America in recent years and we
will continue to commit to servicing international markets
locally, according to requests from our clients.
To date, the principal driving forces behind the
increase in demand and the rapid expansion of storage services
across the ResLab group of companies have been:
the overall logistical efficiencies that ResLab can
bring, gained from our considerable experience of
handling ditch cuttings, core and reservoir fluids on
a day-to-day basis
ResLab’s acute appreciation of the importance and
value of subsurface sample materials to the E & P
companies and government petroleum ministries
around the world
And, last but not least, the significant cost savings
that can be achieved by our clients, by passing
this workload on to ResLab.
